Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Crowdy, a nightlife discovery app operated in Ontario, Canada. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Crowdy.

Eligibility

Crowdy is a nightlife discovery app intended for users who are of legal drinking age in Ontario (19 years or older). By using the app you confirm that you are at least 19.

What Crowdy is

Crowdy helps you discover bars in Toronto and Kingston based on events, crowd signals, and amenities. Crowd levels, “going” counts, happy-hour times, and event details are provided for general information only. They may be user-reported, estimated, or out of date, and Crowdy does not guarantee their accuracy. Always confirm details (hours, cover, age policy, availability) directly with the venue.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app - including by submitting false or misleading information (such as fake “going” activity), attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, scraping data, or using the app for any unlawful purpose.

Bar owners

If you manage a bar through the owner portal, you represent that you are authorized to do so, and that the information you publish (profile, events, capacity) is accurate and lawful. You are responsible for the content you post.

Drink responsibly

Crowdy promotes responsible enjoyment of nightlife. Never drink and drive, and please look out for yourself and others. Crowdy is not responsible for your conduct or experiences at any venue.

Third-party venues and services

Crowdy is not affiliated with, and does not operate, the bars and venues listed in the app, and is not responsible for their products, services, conduct, or policies. The app also relies on third-party services (such as maps); their content is subject to their own terms.

Google Maps

Crowdy includes Google Maps features and content. By using the app you also agree to be bound by Google Maps’ additional terms of service, and you acknowledge that Google handles your information in line with the Google privacy policy.

Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crowdy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or from your visit to any venue listed in it.

Privacy

Your use of Crowdy is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
